The prosecution charged them with receiving military training of al-Qaeda in Libya, joining a group established contrary to the provisions of the law, impeding the provisions of the constitution, preventing state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attacking the personal freedom of citizens and harming national unity and social peace. For their purposes. "Terrorism is the means they used to achieve their purposes, and they participated and others in assaulting people, using force and violence against each other, carrying firearms," ​​she said.

The two convicts were sentenced by a different criminal court, ranging from hanging to imprisonment, and appealed these sentences to the Court of Cassation, which accepted the appeal and ordered their retrial before a different criminal court.
In another case, the Court of Cassation rejected the appeal of 15 sentenced to sentences ranging from life imprisonment to three, aggravated imprisonment of 15 years for 7, 4 convicted for 10 years and the last 7 years for the incursion into the Kerdasa police station.

The text of the ruling that the appeal filed by the second, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth appellants shall not be accepted form, acceptance of the appeal filed by the rest of the appellants in form, and the matter by correcting the contested judgment to cancel the penalty of placing them under police supervision, To them and to the rest of the appellants who did not accept their appeal form, and refused to appeal otherwise.

On May 10, 2018, the Criminal Court of Giza sentenced the success of Mabrouk, Mohammed Faraj and Mohamed Zidan to life imprisonment, and the punishment of Nasr al-Ghazlani, Said Abdulsalam, Gamal Imbabi, Khaled Mohammed, Ali Abdel-Monegi, Mahmoud Abu El Hadid, Rabia, to 15 years in prison, and to punish Mohamed Hassanein, Abdel Salam Fathi and Amir Mohamed for 10 years in prison, and to punish Amr Asfour for 7 years. The Northern Giza Prosecution referred 23 to the Criminal Court for crimes of storming the Kerdasa police station, gathering, intentional destruction, murder and attempted murder, and the use of force and violence with police officers.

In the same context, the Court of Cassation rejected two appeals against the case of the events of the Fath Mosque and supported their sentencing by the Criminal Court, with sentences ranging from life imprisonment to aggravated imprisonment. The Criminal Court had sentenced to life imprisonment in front of 22 convicted, and absent on 21 others, including Salah Sultan, Ahmed Almogir, Abdul Rahman al-Barr, Saad Amara, Abdul Rahman Azz. The court also sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment, 17 years imprisonment, 10 years' imprisonment, 54 years' imprisonment, 13 years' imprisonment and 10 years' imprisonment in absentia to 88 others.
