In its August 2019 edition, the Protestant journal Crismon revealed that about half of Germans find it difficult to address their financial and sexual relations in public. The survey also revealed that 40 percent of Germans are silent when it comes to marital problems.

About a third of the respondents (31%) do not like talking to friends and acquaintances about religion and belief. For 27% of the respondents, the talk about vaccination of children and topics of migration is not desirable to be discussed in their conversations. Moreover, 29% do not like talking about their weight!

The poll, conducted by the Emnid Institute, surveyed 1008 Germans for an investigative account conducted by the journal Crismon. In addition to the above results, other sporadic results have emerged.
